Headwaters Lifetime Warranty

Every Headwaters bamboo rod sold after November 21, 2008, is covered under our lifetime warranty to the original owner for workmanship issues. Rods sold before this date continue to have a one-year warranty for workmanship issues.

You can rest assured that your bamboo rod will perform or we’ll repair or replace the rod at our discretion for the lifetime of the original owner. Headwaters reserves the right to replace any discontinued models with comparable models when necessary. Colors and components may vary between original and replacement parts.

You must return the entire rod (include all broken pieces) so that we can fit the sections together properly before return. When returning your rod, please make sure it is packed either in its original or comparable packaging. You are responsible for shipping and insurance charges. Insure the rod at its full value.

Include a note with your name, shipping address, phone number, and e-mail address, as well as a brief explanation of the nature of the problem or use our Product Service Form that you can download here. You’ll need Adobe Acrobat Reader to read or print the form.

For return shipments within the U.S. after one year from purchase (knowing that often you won’t fish the rod immediately), include a check for $50, or a Visa, MasterCard, or American Express credit card number.

Please return using U.S. Postal Service or contact us to arrange alternative carrier service.

We won’t cover accidental breakage, but if you do accidentally break your rod, give us a call and we’ll see what we can do to get it repaired.
