"It was far more responsive than I expected..."
I received a Favorite 7′6″ 5/6 wt. for my birthday from my children. Normally, I build my own rods but when I received this one I was impressed from the start. The rod is beautifully crafted and yet kept simple. The most important thing to me is “fishability”. It casts heavy wooley buggers and weighted nymphs very easily and delicate #18 BWO’s like a dream. I am fortunate to own several rods from top manufacturers that costs at least twice as much as my Favorite. But this rod is certainly my “Favorite” go to rod. Thanks for making is affordable for everyone.
